| 488 leads the afternoon westbound into its Brunswick stop at the new "Maine Street Station." To me the new station (also the home of restaurants, a visiter's center, etc.) looks like an ugly office building. Nonetheless, I'm happy about it for the sake of the town and the railroad. The welded rail on the ground is for the rebuilding of the tracks for Amtrak's Downeaster expansion. |
