| Alaska Railroad GP40-2 3005 sits in the diesel shop facility at Anchorage Yard between assignments. The ARR locomotive shop keeps the railroad's fleet of GP38-2s, GP40-2s and SD70MACs in good working order as the engines go about moving people and freight over the 470+ mile railroad. (Taken with permission under the direct supervision of the ARRC while wearing all required PPE) |
