| The engineer has just notched out the throttle and is looking back over his 5 six-axle locomotives as Seaboard System train #329 struggles to start the climb from South Manchester up Pine Mountain. After several miles of severe grade and curves, Pine Mountain will be conquered and 329 will rapidly pick up speed as it descends the south side of the mountain into the town of Woodland. CSX selected #8041 for the SD40-3 rebuild program and it became CSX #4019 |
