| Portland Rose Special on the return trip from celebrating the 100th year of the Pendleton Roundup. The train got stopped before the west switch of Kamela on a 2.2% grade in pouring rain due to MOW equipment that was heading up the grade the opposite direction that did not clear in time. A supervisor on the Special was none too happy about getting the train going again. For those of us waiting, it was something else listening to 844 getting that train going again. WOW! |
