| 5010-6002 work an empty coal train westbound to load at Moolarben coal. 5010 built in 2007 is one of 12 C40ACi's ordered when QR National enterred the Hunter Valley coal haulage, 6002 is a C44ACi and only a few months old and was originally ordered for interstate freight, due to the expanding coal traffic two 6000 class are being used to ease the shortage. The external difference in the two are the 6000's have white handrails and larger radiators with bogie mounted sand boxes while 5000's handrails are yellow and the radiators don't protrude beyond the hood the sand boxes are built into the body. |
