| Off The Beaten Track. The Massachusetts Bay Railroad Enthusiasts' summer excursions almost always feature rare mileage and this trip over the entire length of the B&ML was no exception; here at Winnecook station, we did a photo runby on the way back to Belfast. A few trainlengths back is the spot where the narrow gauge Wiscasset, Waterville, & Farmington was stopped in its tracks when it was denied permission to cross the standard gauge line at grade. |
