A NB UP freight crosses the Guadalupe River on an ex-MKT bridge, now known as Track #2 of the UP's Austin Sub. A local fire department practices water rescue skills in the small waterfall. Last fall, instead of firemen, it was fishermen in the water. Every year provides a new wrinkle to one my favorite spots in the San Antonio area.
