      Remarks & Notes
Cave in! Heading down the Second Subdivision between Reubens and Spalding, ID (yes, THAT 2nd Sub) on a highrail inspection, we encounter various small slides and cave ins. Scott grabs a shovel and starts moving debris so we can continue down the historic line. For those of you not familiar with Palouse railroading, the Second Subdivision is one of the lines that defies logic. High grades, miles of trestles, and tunnels galore make up the out-of-service track. For more info on the impressive line, including pictures of when the line was in service, surf on over HERE!
