Just before sundown, the Southwest Chief, essentially on time, rolls out of Raton Pass on approach to Trinidad, Colorado. Today's train features perfect weather, plus five private cars heading east after the prior day's Albuquerque conclusion of the annual AAPRCO special.
I would like to see a shot of an eastbound Chief, El Capitan, or Super Chief (or really any F-led warbonnet streamliner) in this scene.
