| IC 3683 in the deadline at Markham Yard. That's my railfan buddy playing engineer in the cab. These unusual locomotives were actually converted 2-8-2 engines, and were mostly used as hump power. IC 3683 was formerly
2-8-2 1625, rebuilt in 1942 at Paducah shops. |
