In December of 1976 the Freedom Train was finishing up its' tour of the United States. December 10-15 saw the train, led by SP 4449, in St. Petersburg. Early in the morning of December 16th the Freedom Train left St. Pete and moved on to Lakeland, and finally, headed south to Miami to finish her tour of the United States.
