Remarks & Notes

The first snowfall of the 2010 snow season pretties up Eder, while the Westbound Zephyr barks towards the summit of Donner Pass. In just a few hours, this shot will be unaccessible without the help of snowshoes, as there would be over a foot of fresh powder on the ground. Today, a snow report showed over 5 feet of snow on the ground at this same location. Yikes!
