    Remarks & Notes
Area airports were closed, but Amtrak's Northeast Corridor was quite active during the aftermath of the blizzard the day before. This was the third of three Amtrak westbounds to pass through Edison within five minutes. It was also the first train to use track 4 in quite some time, with dramatic results. Luckily no one was on the platform! Within minutes the constant heavy wind deposited more snow on the tracks allowing this scene to play out several times throughout the afternoon.
