| Shortly after sunset on a warm afternoon, the landmark Pennsylvania Railroad Eight Track Lift Bridge stands silent above the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal near the Ash Street interlocking on the old B&OCT. This historic bridge has been designated as a Chicago Landmark, and still sees many trains per day pass over its old ironwork.
