| A Rare Occurrence: 4136 had just been to North Bay for some reason or other and had been wyed while there. Although it is always supposed to be returned to Huntsville pointing south it wasn't turned back around in time for when 450 came along to tow it home. Since the crew of 450 wasn't about to wait for that to happen, I was allowed this unique opportunity a couple of days later to shoot it along side Lake Vernon returning from the Panolam plant down by Martins oriented north. This is also a bit wider crop than normal from this location showing the road and its relationship to the rail line and lake shore, an idea put forth to me by RP contributor and photographer extraordinaire Dave "Blaze" Blazejewski who felt the inclusion of the road would help to lend "a sense of place". |
