| It seems remarkable that this was taken 42 years ago - at least it does to me. A visit to Leeds Neville Hill depot in September 1969 found this class 25 diesel stood at the small fuel point. I always thought that they looked so much better in the green livery,rather than the corporate blue that they carried later. This particular loco was renumbered 25248,and was withdrawn from service in November 1982. It was cut up at Swindon Works in April 1986. |
