| History was made on March 2, 2011 when the very first Light Rail Vehicle arrived in West Jordan, a suburb in the southwestern part of the Salt Lake Valley. The test train with four brand new Siemens S70 LRV's is photographed during a brief pause at the yet to be finished West Jordan City Center station on Redwood Road. The UTA Mid-Jordan line is scheduled to open for regular service in August of 2011. |
