| A look back at what may be in the future for lines along the Mississippi River this year, a conductor eyes the high water as his train emerges from a submerged section of track. This westbound V train is running under a slow order and supervision of a nearby trainmaster. After the river peaked and the line reopened trains ran over these covered tracks for a couple days without incident. |
