It fascinated me to watch Conrail change from a patchwork of paint schemes into a uniform appearance. On Sept. 8, 1984, a westbound Train Van train grinds upgrade past MG Tower. The train is almost, if not all Conrail, from the locomotive consist to the Trail Van trailers occupying the flats.
