| Remember back in steam days when brakeman used to ride in a little enclosure at the back of the tender. Well now CN puts them on a pair of silver chairs on the hood between the 48" fan and the cab. Either that or due to the Government of Ontario's non-smoking legislation in the workplace the Conductor & Brakeman have to leave the cab and and go outside to the designated smoking area to light up. Or maybe CN is thinking about getting back into the passenger business. They are marketing this as the observation lounge. |
