The eastbound W&W "Sandman" was slowly dropping downgrade at Indian Hollow, VA on Oct. 10, 1986, led by RS-11 No. 863. No. 863 was purchased from N&W and arrived as No. 2863. W&W restored the unit to its original Nickel Plate number when it was painted into the W&W scheme.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
