| Milw. 158, Soo 2408 head train 12 west into a late evening sun near Kinross. The train was 50 cars long on this mid July evening, rather large for this era. Train 12 normally had a call time of 4-5PM at Sault Ste. Marie near the end of Soo's Upper Michigan operations. This worked out well in summertime for photos at least as far as Trout Lake, but when winter rolled around any photo chances were gone if the train was on "schedule". |
