271 ran from Mohawk Yard in Schenectady, NY to Buffalo, NY with a Guilford connection at Mohawk Yard. This day a Guilford unit has run thru as a leader. Ironically this unit is the former D&H 7609 which had been purchased new by the D&H in 1976 and would have run on these former DL&W-D&H rails when working for the D&H. Guilford had transferred it to the B&M when they owned both. It became UP 369, UP 2748, UP 1248. SOO power trails.
