    Remarks & Notes
The fall colors were beginning to show on the maple trees in the front of Gwalthmey Baptist Church at Gwalthmey, VA as southbound manifest No. 105 passed on Oct. 18, 1979 with an interesting power lash-up. From the looks of the train, it had been a rough night for the crew. No. 105 was called out of Potomac Yard in the wee hours of the morning and the train make-up shows at least two pick-ups, likely three.
