The depot in Stryker pictured here was established in July of 1900, replacing the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern's original 1876-built wooden depot, which burned down on March 22, 1900. Passenger service in Stryker came to an end in 1956, but to this day, countless freight trains still continue to roll by without end on what is now Norfolk Southern's Chicago Line.
