| The new Mercedes-Benz car factory is still under construction at the city of Kecskemét. The factory serving trains will use the electrified mainlines, but the Budapest - Kecskemét secondary non-electrified line will be the alternative route if something detains the traffic and the trains cannot use the original route. The Budapest - Kecskemét line's track quality currently is not in the suitable condition so MáV ordained its reconstruction. The works only can be done at nights, due to the heavy traffic during the day. M61-006 has just finished its nightwork on the open line and now it's waiting for the next night-shift. |
