| After a quick dip in black paint by US Rail's Hamden, OH shop, HLCX 1010 sits in the tail track at the east end of Vauces Center Siding. The unit was built as GP40 SCL 1570 and after being sold by CSX to UP was rebuilt as a GP38-3 before being sold to Helm. The unit arrived in Hamden wearing its former UP scheme and was last in service on US Rail's Kokomo lines. |
