| Rebuilt by former SD40-2s by NRE and delivered to Selkirk in the spring, the '1600' has the distinction of being the only six axle Genset(so far)in the yard. It recently recieved some regional fame from some local TV media & news features on new technology locos in the Capital Region. It's seen working autoracks on the Top End on a summer evening-it's normal assignment so far since it's inception to the big former NYC/ Penn Central freight yard near Albany. |
