Remarks & Notes

This engine is the former Staten Island Railway 821. Built in 1943 it is believed to have originally been a US Army unit. It was acquired in 2010 by the former operator of the North Creek line, Upper Hudson. It was transferred to the S&NC and is currently in use as the Saratoga switcher for assisting in run around moves at the station and south end service protection.
