| Impala Platinum is the worlds second largest platinum mine and operates an extensive electrified (3000v DC) rail system serving 14 shafts. On a typical winters day in the South African bushveld, one of Impala's fleet of class 8E's is seen hauling empties to No.14 shaft. |
