After we tied up for the day, I took this photo of NREX model 2GS14B demonstrator No. 1400 under the sodium vapor lights at St. Paul Yard. This 1400-HP Genset was in town for the Railroad Interchange show held last week at CPR's Humboldt Yard. The unit is on short-term loan to CP, and we used it on third shift top end switch job the evening of Sept 26. It's really a first-class machine, and pulls very well. NRE has a winner here!
