| A Saturday trip to Weirton back in '09 didn't reward much activity, as expected, at the once bustling steel mill. Seeming almost abandoned, it was a bit of a surprise when one of the in plant SW1500's rolled through with a string of doorless boxcars. Used for hauling ingots around the complex the boxcars are certainly an interesting feature. Here a couple ex Boston and Maine cars are mixed in with some Pennsy built X58's in a variety of succesor schemes. |
