Remarks & Notes

When this Milpitas, CA to North Platte, NE vehicle train was photographed in May of 1990, the GE C40-8 was king of the mountain. Three standard cab style 'Dash 8' motors lead an older C36-7, two EMD SD60s and two EMD SD40-2s at Glover's Lane in Farmington, about 10 miles north of Salt Lake City.
