    Remarks & Notes
Silverliner II set makes it to the end of another year; was to be replaced by Silverliner 5 sets in 2010, but the manufacturer has had all sorts of problems delivering and Septa has had many problems training crews to run the few that have made it on the system. Septa train 6231 has itself been advertised for months as having 5's scheduled to it, but it has happened on 1 occasion only. So the trains that are to be replacing the type shown here, need to be bailed out by the old guard; bizarre.
