    Remarks & Notes
Savannah & Atlanta 750 backs up for a lightly patronized photo runby on an Atlanta-Toccoa excursion trip in the spring of 1974. The locomotive was originally built for the Florida East Coast Railway in 1910 by Alco and pulled some of that railroad's crack passenger trains. She was sold to the S&A in 1935. Donated to the Atlanta Chapter, NRHS in 1962, the Light Pacific served on many excursions during the infancy of Southern's steam program. After being sidelined during the late '70s, 750 returned to service during the mid '80s on the New Georgia Railroad. Following the hasty restoration of A&WP 290, 750 was taken out of service permanently and put on static display at the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, GA, where she remains today.
