| The sound of non-turbo EMD prime mover is the only sound heard this morning in the vast empty farmland just north of Elizabeth City as 2190 barks along with 37 loaded stone cars in tow - all destined for one customer in Elizabeth City. Despite the completely flat profile of this part of the state, 2190 was helped down from Chesapeake by sister 2158 until just a few miles ago where 2158 was placed on the rear to be in position to shove the cars into a siding. |
