| Greeted by a “restricting signal” at the north end, the Birmingham to Talladega local A735 rolls onto the Pelham siding at the snail’s pace of 10MPH with a classy GP40-2 leading the way. This slow speed would prove to be pivotal in capturing this image because moments earlier the entire scene was inundated with clouds blocking all available sun light and leaving me to think I was about to miss out on this photo opportunity. |
