| Local passenger train from Brennero to Bolzano in the German speaking northern part of Italy. The Brenner Pass is one of the most important traffic connections between northern and southern Europe. It's a beautiful railway line crossing the Alps in a truly amazing landscape. There are however 2 difficulties to get good shots: noise barriers and tunnels. Not the photographer's best friend. It wasn't easy to find a spot like this. Currently the Brenner Base Tunnel is in construction and is sheduled to be completed in 2025. Unless train traffic is going to increase a lot, it will be difficult to see trains in the open air. |
