| A westbound UP mixed frieght sits broke down in West Palm Springs.
As UP 7889 passed me in Palm Springs they soon let dispatch know they were only doing 5mph. I headed to Tipton Rd to catch UP 7889, but it never made it. It died coming up the grade. The conductor asked for some helpers. Even though it had 10 engines, only 3 were active.
In the consist were three of the new SD59MX's. |
