Union Pacific's Provo switcher poses for photographers the newly rebuilt and repainted United States Steel #26. The beautifully restored Baldwin DS-4-4-10 received a new lease on life with an EMD power transplant and new paint by Morrison Knudsen of Boise, Idaho. The USS 26 was purchased new for use at United States Steel's Geneva Works in Dec. 1947. It would return to service at the Vineyard, Utah mill later that day.
