As the winter sun rises over the Cascades, its warm rays start to melt the morning frost and fill the valley with a light fog that glows from the sun. It’s a serene and beautiful morning that comes awake with the sounds of Amtrak’s namesake Cascade service, blasting through the valley on it's way south to Portland.
