Remarks & Notes

The West Texas & Lubbock Railroad was in a power shortage, so parent company Iowa Pacific Holdings sent locomotives from the SLRG to help out. The locomotive has come a long way from the cold Maine days on the Canadian American Railway and speedy passenger service with Amtrak. Now it wobbles down the line with it's road slug in the hot sandy air of west Texas. Here they have just arrived in the yard with a train from Lubbock.
