Using my Fall Break wisely, my dad and I traveled over to the Altoona area to capture all the changes that were taking place. Pennsy signals were a priority and so was ALTO. We were very fortunate to have been allowed the opportunity to come up to the tower. So much great history lies within Alto tower. It was such a great experience and privilege to be there. Here, the second trick Tower Opperator poses for his picture knowing that his time in ALTO is coming to an end. Once the tower is closed, he still will have a job with Norfolk Soutern. He will head to the Juniata shops.
