| One of the many freights that travel this end of the CN Oakville Sub, 422 slows to do some work at Aldershot before heading to Mac Yard. The soil base in this area below the Niagara Escarpment is comprised mainly of red clay, which works its way up through the roadbed during the spring thaw to settle in puddles of slurry that gets plastered over everything that passes by, resulting in a pinkish dusty coating which is quite evident here. |
