| Oh joy! At last - my efforts to seek the combination of sun and a steam locomotive on the main line finally came good this morning. It's always a delight to see the elegant 'Royal Scot' on my home turf, seen here at Elland in the heart of the river Calder Valley about 10 miles from my home. In a couple of minutes the train will stop at Brighouse for water, hopefully giving me the opportunity (traffic allowing) to get a few miles ahead and find another vantage point, perhaps somewhere near Mirfield. |
