| This DRB Class 50 (2-10-0) steam locomotive was built in 1943 and was in service until 1986. On April 22, 1987 the locomotive was purchased by the Friends of Kaiserslautern Industrial Museum. They owned the locomotive until August 18, 1991 when the City of Kaiserslautern became the owner. The city has since owned the locomotive and it has been erected as a monument. It currently sits outside the entrance to the EuroMaint Rail facility in Kaiserslautern. |
