Remarks & Notes

Mixed trains are still a feature of Sri Lanka Railways. Here 667 arrives at Peradeniya Junction, near kandy, with the 1020 kandy to Nawalapitya, mixed. Passengers ride in ancient looking carriages at the rear of the train. 667 is a 1969 built Henschel, diesel hydraulic, W3 class.
