      Remarks & Notes
At historic Butte, Montana, a matched set of high hood EMD GP7/GP9 units are prepared for a journey to the Montana Rail Link interchange at Garrison, Montana. The 103, 106, 104 and 105 were built by EMD for the Butte Anaconda & Pacific Railway between 1953-1957. The Montana Western Railway leased 52 miles of Burlington Northern track (ex-Northern Pacific) between Butte and Garrison beginning in Sept. 1986 (a distance of 52 miles). All train operations returned to the BNSF Railway in July 2003.

Do you ever get the feeling as a model railroader, that you just might be creating something not "prototypical?" Same here.
