| Another E8 officially joins the fleet of active E8's in North America. This former CNW and Metra E8 makes its maiden run down the Saratoga & North Creek Railway on Friday June 1, 2012 pulling the 7am train out of North Creek to Saratoga. Assigned to parent Iowa Pacific for use on future expansions and carrying SLRG reporting marks, this unit will temporarily be used on the S&NC. It will shortly be joined on the S&NC by a matching unit numbered SLRG 515 (former AZER 6070). |
