    Santa Fe train #75 (the CALIFORNIA SPECIAL) speeds west near Muleshoe in the Texas South Plains. The train originated at Houston the previous evening and is en route to Clovis, New Mexico, and a connection with the SAN FRANCISCO CHIEF. This train was discontinued on July 18, 1968.
